7L & ESOTERIC

El dúo se formó en 1992 cuando Dyed esotérico un hip hop demostrar en una estación de radio de la Universidad al norte de Boston. 7 L, un DJ y productor que escuchaban el show, se estableció contacto con esotérica en interés de colaborar. Los dos se encontraron comparten un amor común de la edad de oro del hip-hop y decidieron formar un grupo.

Después de realizar un tiempo en el metro de Boston, el dúo, con MC Karma conocido al tiempo que el complejo de Dios, lanzó su primer single en 1996. Esto condujo a la liberación del LP de la Alianza Rebelde, con actos como Virtuoso, Sr. Lif, Tony Infamous y cinco de fuerza. También en este momento los dos abandonó el complejo de Dios moniker convertirse en simplemente 7 L & esotérica.

Poco después, 7 L & esotérica apagar sus primeros 12 "con remasterizada versiones de sus canciones de la Alianza Rebelde"Protocolo"y" estar alerta. " "Estar alerta", el lado b del disco, comenzó a recibir importantes radios, debido a su único degustación de la canción tema de TV de transformadores. La pista, que fue producida por Beyonder, se hizo muy popular en la escena underground.

El dúo, a continuación, interrumpidas las "Def rimas" único que les presione en la fuente. "Def rimas" apareció en el EP, hablando de palabras reales, lanzado en 1999. El álbum también incluye a miembros de Wu-Tang Clan Inspectah Deck en la pista de título.

Lanzaron su primer LP The Soul propósito en el verano de 2001. El álbum recibió el Premio de música de Boston a "Mejor álbum de hip-hop," [cita necesaria] y llevó al dúo viajar por los Estados Unidos y Europa. A su regreso, grabaron y lanzó su segundo LP en el otoño de 2002 titulado de conexión peligrosa.
