Hifana es un dúo japonés de DJs integrado por KEIZO machine! y Juicy, conocido por sus conciertos en vivo, ya que no utilizan secuenciadores ni programadores y su música es totalmente improvisada. Su estilo musical se compone de breakbeat y hip hop con influencias de música tradicional japonesa. Hifana se formó en 1990 bajo el nombre de Tribal Circus y en 1998 se cambió el nombre a Hifana, que significa "viento del sur" en el dialecto de Okinawa. LE PEUPLE DE I'HERBE

Es un grupo de música electrónica francesa formada en 1997 y nacido en Lyon.

Fue fundadO en 1997 bajo el impulso de Dj Pee y Dj Stani. Después de varios beneficios locales en un dúo de hip-hop abstracto de estilo se unió al Psychostick, baterista de rock de formación, que inmediatamente aporta un toque más agresivo a los ritmos se desarrolló a través de la capacitación de nuevos. Para la anécdota, el músico es reclutado después de un remix en dos días, dejando una fuerte impresión.

Un primer álbum, titulado "triplezéro", se publica en el año 2000 haciendo avances interesantes en ácido de jazz y styles'Bass de tambor.

El mismo año, Le Peuple de l ' herbe es llamados a colaborar con Virginie Despentes para su película "baise-moi". Pronta ' n ' grupo trompetista componer canciones en la banda sonora de la película de Zeng, formación más clásica, jazz. El artista deje más entrenamiento.

El segundo álbum de Peuple de l ' herbe ("prueba de electro / dos") se encuentra, la marcada presencia de ' n ' Zeng, en un estilo similar de smooth jazz, con secciones siempre muy rápidas, que comienza a dar la identidad de grupo propio y original. Es de destacar la aparición en dos títulos de un joven inglés MC, gutturale JC 001, voz entrecortado (que sugiere un robot) retener una atención especial.

THE HERBALISER

The Herbaliser es una banda musical de Jazz / hip-hop formada por Ollie Teeba y Jake Wherry en Inglaterra al comienzo de la década de 1990s. Actualmente es uno de los grupos más afamados y exitosos del sello independiente Ninja Tune. Han publicado 8 LPs, que incluyen 2 remixes para DJ: uno para Ninja Tune's Solid Steel series y el otro - publicado en febrero de 2006 - para Fabric's Live Mix series.

El dúo formado por Jake Wherry y Ollie Teeba ha evolucionado bastante en sus 15 años de historia. Primero, hacían beats instrumentales, breaks y samples. Después añadieron rapperos como vocalistas colaboradores. Más tarde, ya como favoritos de muchos festivales de música, su formación creció hasta ser una mini-orquesta con abundantes arreglos y adaptaciones musicales para la ocasión. El eclecticismo estilístico es la base fundamental del grupo. Su último álbum, Same As It Never Was builds, se fundamenta en las raíces del hip-hop de la banda, mezclándolo con jazz, funk, R&B, pop e incluso influencias de bandas sonoras de películas. JODECI

Jodeci (a veces estilizado como JoDeCi) es una banda estadounidense, cuyo repertorio incluye r & b y soul music new jack swing. El grupo se compone de dos pares de hermanos de Hampton, Virginia y Charlotte, Carolina del Norte: Cedric & Joel Hailey y Donald & Dalvin DeGrate, todo respectivamente, conocido por sus nombres de etapa: K-Ci y Jojo, DeVante Swing y el Sr. Dalvin. El nombre del grupo es una combinación de los nombres de los tres miembros originales: Jo-Jo, DeVante parrilla y K-Ci.

MACY GRAY

Macy Gray (6 de septiembre de 1967 en Ohio) es una cantante estadounidense de R&B y neo soul y actriz. Su verdadero nombre es Natalie Renee McIntyre.

Comenzó su carrera profesional en Los Ángeles en 1999, año en el que lanzó bajo el sello Atlantic su disco de debut, On How Life Is. Tuvo éxitos como 'I've Committed Murder' y 'Why Didn't You Call Me?', pero fue sin duda 'I Try' la canción que la catapultó al éxito, siendo hoy en día uno de los clásicos imperdurables de la pasada década.

En el año 2001 gana el Grammy como "mejor intérprete pop femenino" por la canción 'I Try'. También estuvo nominada a "canción del año" y "álbum del año", este último ganado por Christina Aguilera. Es en este mismo año cuando sale a la venta su segundo álbum de estudio The ID, presentado por el single 'Sexual Revolution' y que contiene un dueto con Erykah Badu titulado 'Sweet Baby', que también fue sencillo. Es en este período cuando Macy Gray se convierte en intérprete de la canción principal de la serie de dibujos Ginger.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

Es un grupo de hip hop alternativo estadounidense fundado por Speech como una alternativa positiva, de Afrocentric para el gangsta rap popular en la década de 1990.

El grupo tomó tres años, cinco meses y dos días a ofrecer un contrato discográfico, cuando Chrysalis Records envió a director de a & R Marlowe Duff a los estudios de Bosstown de Atlanta para reunirse con Gerente el grupo de Michael Mauldin. Desarrollo detenido ya había sido ofrecido un solo frente para la canción "Tennessee", por lo tanto el nombre del primer álbum, 3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of..., , que produjo varias pistas. Estos incluyeron "Tennessee", "People Everyday" y "Mr. Wendal," que golpeó el Top Ten.

El grupo ganó dos premios Grammy en 1993 para la artista revelación y mejor canción de rap por un dúo o grupo y también fueron nombrado banda del año por la revista Rolling Stone. 3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of... fue el álbum número uno en el Village Voice Pazz de 1992.

Unos meses más tarde el grupo se acercó al director de cine Spike Lee para componer una canción para su próxima película basada en la vida de Malcolm X.
