Como adolescente, Tommy Guerrero (nacido el 9 de septiembre 1966 en San Francisco) fue uno de los miembros prominentes de la Bones Brigade, el equipo de skate Powell Peralta profesionales que dominaron la década de 1980. Él era bien conocido por su calle, aparentemente sin esfuerzo patinar en su ciudad natal de San Francisco, que fue representado en la mayoría de los videos de la Brigada (Future Primitive, The Search for Animal Chin, de dominio público, y prohibir este).
