DJ YODA

Duncan Beiny (nacido en Londres, Reino Unido), más conocido como DJ Yoda, es un DJ de hip hop que usa muestras para crear un estilo musical de dibujos animados

De 1995 a 1998, estudió literatura Inglés y americano en la Universidad de Warwick. Durante este período, comenzó a realizar a Mojo, un popular hip hop y Warwick discoteca alma hasta que se graduó. Después de dejar la universidad, comenzó a lanzar metro demo mix-tapes de pequeñas tiendas de música. A través de la popularidad de estas cintas, discos Antídoto le pedirá que cree una mixtape oficial, de la cual Cómo cortar y pegar "Mix Tape Vol.1 fue puesto en libertad. Ha ganado un DJ DMC del Año en la categoría Scratch DJ (2001) y fue uno de los seis nominados para el mejor hip-hop del Reino Unido DJ en el Reino Unido Hip-Hop Awards. También ha sido nominado por Q la revista como uno de los "Diez DJs Para ver antes de morir", ha publicado una serie de mezclas, y ha recorrido el mundo con Goldie y el Scratch Perverts. Actualmente es el corresponsal de hip-hop para revistas IDJ, y también escribe la página de la revista DJ de Hip Hop Connection. Él también ha estado en el jurado de los DJ DMC World Finals en los últimos tres años. Yoda lanzó su primer álbum de material original, titulado Las asombrosas aventuras de DJ Yoda, el 2 de octubre 2006 bajo el sello Antídoto.El álbum cuenta con vocalistas invitados, incluyendo Biz Markie, Sway, Patito Feo y MC Paul Barman. Además de publicar su propio material, que también se ha realizado arañazos en Dangermouse y de Ghetto Jemini Pop Life. Ha sido un invitado habitual en la BBC Radio One que aparece junto a Steve Lamacq y Mac Annie. En 2009, fue nominado a un Sony Radio Academy Award.
